Online Circles
A loving online community voor conscious parents.
We become the parents we wish to be for our children, by investing time in ourselves.
As a doula, pedagogue, and mother, I see time and again how lonely pregnancy and parenthood can feel in our individualistic, hollowed-out society. But it doesn’t have to be that way. Society is shifting, parents need change.
This community is for you — right from the comfort of your own couch.
Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
Can my partner join the pregnancy circle?
The pregnancy circle is for those who are personally carrying a baby.
Do fathers take part in the parent circle?
Absolutely — in the parent circles, fathers and any partners who play a meaningful role in parenting are wholeheartedly welcome.
Does this circle have a spiritual or religious focus?
- No, these circles are for conscious parents and are not tied to any particular belief system. When we discuss topics like the earth and the source we come from, participants may experience this as a connection to a divine source—or not. You bring your own beliefs to your participation. There is space for all perspectives here.
- However, respect for all ways of life and beliefs is essential during the circle. Everyone’s experience of how life works is equal. If a participant expresses disrespect for another’s way of life, they will be asked to leave the (online) circle.
I don’t identify as a woman. Is the pregnancy circle open to me?
If you are the one carrying a baby, you are welcome in the pregnancy circle. It’s as simple as that.
Which themes are explored in a circle?
During the circle, we start with a moment of self-care. We do a meditation, then go around sharing your intention for the circle and what’s going on with you personally.
In the pregnancy circle, we reflect on topics such as breathing, connecting with your baby, the first 1000 days, preparing for birth and the postpartum period, self-care, and the psychological transformation you experience during pregnancy and birth.
In the parent circles, we talk about personal growth, self-care, vision, feelings, relationships, family, connecting with like-minded people, parenting, worries, and more.
Besides that, we dance, listen to music, write, make art, and mostly enjoy a warm and cozy atmosphere.
